Presentation Title: FPL’s Thermal Energy Storage Rebate Program
Presentation will describe Thermal Energy Storage and the associated utility rebate. Also, how the Time-Of-Use electrical rate is instrumental in making Thermal Storage economically attractive.
Richard is a native Floridian, born and raised in Jacksonville FL. He is a Gator, graduating from the University of Florida with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Richard is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. He has an extensive background in Commercial & Industrial HVAC systems. He has worked for fortune 500 companies such as Johnson Controls, York, Trane, & FPL
Currently, Richard resides in Fort Myers FL supporting FPL’s Demand Side Management group, battery storage, and solar net metering projects. Richard serves on TC-6.9 Thermal Storage as the Programs Chair & in the Region XXII Refrigeration Vice Chair.
